… and apparently the Swiss are also quite adept at designing cool clothes, if the selection available at plus41 is anything to go by.

We also may well have found someone that ties with me as hottest product model in the history of HYA. Yeah, your right, she ain’t got nuffin on me.

This hoodie (that doesn’t seem to have a traditional hood) is actually more clever than I orginally gave it credit, I thought it was just a selection of geometric blocks, kinda like tetris with angles. But upon closer inspection I can see a bear, a dog, a bird, and a Swiss cross, there’s probably a load more that I haven’t seen too. Oh, and the print begins (or ends) in one of the kangaroo pouches, super nice.

Costiness=€75, from here.

*Just noticed that the design is called Tangram Animals, guess the bear shouldn’t have been much of a surprise afterall.*

Myspace makes me feel young

Yeah, HYA got a Myspace, but I swear its just for networking, since loads of companies have them and release bulletins that will really make my job here easier.

So if you’re a clothing company, add me as a friend and I’ll be able to keep tabs on your updates. And if you’re just a fan of HYA, then it would be great if you’d add me, even if it just allows me to gather conclusive evidence that this blog has the most attractive readership on the whole internet. Yeah, take that Itswhatsontheinsidethatcounts.com!

Just because I don’t like planting links too much:

I can’t see you

Rosie Robinson, who was featured earlier in the week has some cool new customised light-weight jackets in her eBay Store. They’re camo fabric with large designs on the back (mostly), from what I can tell it looks like an extra bit of fabric with the screen print has been sewn onto the back, a style which works really well with the camo.

Costiness varies from £20 to £25 with £5.50 p+p, but she’ll only post to Europe and Australia, sorry Americans.

Always different

FOHYA (Friend of HYA, and yes, why abbreviate if you’re going to explain) Shimone from San-Fran-centric blog Jungle Life tipped me off to a cool hoodie by a band. Usually I try and steer clear of band merch since a lot of people wouldn’t want to wander around with a band they’d never heard of on their body, since musical choices do have a tendency to profile the wearer.

But Shimone had no idea what they sounded like, he just liked the hoodie. I do. Forever Changed look pretty generic indie/rock/emo (I’m basing this on the hair), but they do have a few pretty good tracks, and I was particularly impressed with the singers voice. Onto the hoodie…

It’s a surprisingly good design considering its band merch, with a kinda vintage look, invoking images of 70s fairgrounds and carnivals, or am I just indulging my Americana thoughts a bit too much? No idea what it’s printed on but considering the price I can’t imagine it’s AA-esque standard Printed on Jerzee.

Costiness=$25 (not much, but bands need to eat as well as rock), from here.
