The people from Aiko got back in touch with me and I do have a resolution to my search, but I’m afraid it wasn’t quite the answer I was hoping for.
The only way you can buy original Aiko products is from two sources. The store run by the people behind Aiko in Amsterdam, or a store in Milan. Dang.
Well, I’ve always said I’d love to go back to Amsterdam…
*EXCITING UPDATE GOODNESS*
Dave Rambo found a webshop that has Aiko available online and posted the links in the comments section of the previous Aiko post. The cotton-y goodness can be found at Subnormals.com, I wonder if the guys that run Aiko know about it, and if so, why didn’t they tell me?

2hi.
sure Niko (the AikO designer) knows about subnormals.com.
i met him in munich, when we planned that i start with a online shop featuring his stuff. maybe when he didn’t tell you about it, it wasn’t online? we started just weeks ago.

3damn and there are some more stores featuring AiKO stuff. not many. but for example i was very surprised last week when i stayed in Verona for some hours shopping, and found AiKO shirts at the “love therapy” store.

4Niko said that he didn’t think he could handle running a webstore on top of everything else, but it is still a bit odd that he didn’t mention it.
I’ve never seen AiKO on sale near where I live, but I don’t think my local area has the best selection, which is probably why I spend so much time looking at clothes on the internet.

6Thanks for the update Kid-ti!
I was actually at his store in Amsterdam last month, the selection of AiKO wasn’t huge, but the store (Hanazuki) was really good.
