Usually, I wouldn’t post a tee site that has just one design available for purchase. But I’ve got a pretty good feeling about Cotton Werks, maybe it’s the fact that their designs are reminiscent of good submissions at Threadless, maybe it’s the soothing use of blue all over the site, but I like’m.
There’s also a real sense that the people behind CottonWerks aren’t out for a quick buck either, if you look at ‘the Blogs‘ (which is a pretty liberal use of the term) then you’ll see that they allow anyone with an account to post questions and in turn they ask questions of their registered members. I like transparency in business and whilst this feature feels slightly clunky (what happens when lots of people start writing), it seems like a great idea.
It’s clearly early days for Cotton Werks, but I’m glad they’ve hit my radar and they’re one new brand I’ll be keeping an eye on.
