Free-tastic

by Andy on January 11, 2007

Wanna win a fanta… great t-shirt from Fantastic Bonanza?

Well, they’re going to be running a competition every month in which you can do just that. This month’s question is:

“What is the most FANTASTIC thing that has ever happened ever?”

You just need to go to this page of their blog, and leave your answer in the comments (remember to include your e-mail in the info section!). There’s only 6 people that have entered at the moment (unless more have e-mailed entries in) so you actually have quite a good chance of winning.

Merchandising 101 with Spreadshirt

by Andy on January 11, 2007

I know that quite a lot of people who read this blog actually produce and sell products themselves, so even though this post is a bit off topic it will appeal to some of you.

Spreadshirt, an online merchandising company that hosts many online shops, are going to be holding the first in a series of ‘webinars’ starting today at 2-3pm EST. The super-sexy title for today’s webinar is “T-Shirts and Hats and Bags, Oh My!: Merchandising Your Brand 101″. I don’t really know how this kind of thing is going to work, although the format seems to be 20 minutes of them giving tips followed by 15 minutes of people asking questions. I’ll probably be in attendance (although the time difference does make things a bit awkward for me), so if you can’t get involved I’ll do a bit of a follow-up later.

If you want to register and reserve a ‘seat’ then head over to this link. Oh, and this is open to everyone, not just people who have shops with Spreadshirt.

*I didn’t realise that you needed to call a number in the US (and a 1 hour phonecall to the US would be a tad pricey for me) so that I could hear what was going on in the webinar, so I wouldn’t want to pass judgement on it, anyone else get the full experience? Thoughts?*

What a bombshell!

by Andy on January 11, 2007

droppingbombs What a bombshell!

I’ve said it before (probably) and I’ll say it again, Digital Gravel produce the goods time and time again, even if they go for stuff that’s more streetwear orientated than I usually cover. Today’s hoodie pick is no exception.

I know there are lots of people out there that are obsessed with sneakers, so this hoodie should be right up your alley. It’s a fun comic-y design featuring shoe boxes (‘bombs’) dropping to the ground. I think a design like this is better being on the back of a hoodie, especially considering the size of the print, and the design would have been ruined by the zip-up as well. Let’s blurb it out:

“A special delivery from Sneak Tip as their bomber flies overhead, releasing new shoe boxes on the masses, exploding as they hit the ground for the back print. Nice Sneak Tip logo embroidery on the front left in orange.”
