Merchandising 101 with Spreadshirt

I know that quite a lot of people who read this blog actually produce and sell products themselves, so even though this post is a bit off topic it will appeal to some of you.

Spreadshirt, an online merchandising company that hosts many online shops, are going to be holding the first in a series of ‘webinars’ starting today at 2-3pm EST. The super-sexy title for today’s webinar is “T-Shirts and Hats and Bags, Oh My!: Merchandising Your Brand 101″. I don’t really know how this kind of thing is going to work, although the format seems to be 20 minutes of them giving tips followed by 15 minutes of people asking questions. I’ll probably be in attendance (although the time difference does make things a bit awkward for me), so if you can’t get involved I’ll do a bit of a follow-up later.

If you want to register and reserve a ’seat’ then head over to this link. Oh, and this is open to everyone, not just people who have shops with Spreadshirt.

*I didn’t realise that you needed to call a number in the US (and a 1 hour phonecall to the US would be a tad pricey for me) so that I could hear what was going on in the webinar, so I wouldn’t want to pass judgement on it, anyone else get the full experience? Thoughts?*

I’d left work before this started. Did you attend Andy? How was it?

Maybe if its a popular service we’ll run something similar in the EU. Thanks for promoting anyway ;)

Well, the slideshow was alright, but it was quite frustrating not knowing what was really going on because the slides were clearly just a skeleton to be talked over. I’d give it another go though (and possibly call through Skype to keep costs down).

I got an email from them, but I didn’t get it until it was too late.
