Yeah, I was just telling them to expand their horizons, but perhaps that can happen next week, because ‘Usual Day at Work‘ is just so cute (as long as it isn’t racist). I really like how the chain around the bad tooth (they are teeth, right?) goes all the way up the t-shirt to the top of the neck, instead of cutting off halfway and ruining the effect. The colorway is also pretty cool too, the blue on blue seems to work pretty well.
And whaddya think of the product shot? I think that this is the first time we’ve been taken inside their new store, even if we can only see the window.

1Past clean vectored images and into messy vectored images? I am going to visit that store once it opens… hurray for Chicago!

2Well, I just think that some of the people in their community need to broaden their tastes a bit, perhaps to stores like Fantastic Bonanza!

3Man, do I ever hear that.
Threadless‘ fairly recognizable style, despite printing the work of many designers, is something that I very very briefly touched on in my big post about Threadless (you know the one). This consistent style contributed to my disenchantment with Threadless, actually… too much rehashing, not enough innovation!
