Man, I had such a fun weekend, if you wanna read about it I put a rather long recap up on my personal blog, and if you wanna see blurry pictures of various bands take a look at the giveitaname tag on Zooomr, since I seem to be the only person to have used that tag, ever. In terms of clothing at the festival, most people seemed to be wearing band t-shirts, and I didn’t see any Threadless tees, which was a surprise, and there was actually only one tee that I recognised from an American tee label, which was by Johnny Cupcakes. Just like last year, I realised that I should have had some HYA business cards printed up so that I could accost and photograph the people who were wearing cool hoodies… and the hot girls.
But I guess I can’t reminisce forever, there’s hoodie’s to be looked at!

This hoodie isn’t exactly the most exciting thing in the world, but its a good solid design, which is pretty beautifully designed, especially the highly detailed tree on the back, and the colourway is very complimentary aswell. Although, I would be tempted to say that it is a little costly since its printed on an American Apparel hoodie, but I don’t really know how much it costs to print this stuff, and I guess that both elsewares will put a bit of a premium on the hoodie as well as Morris & Essex, so who knows (maybe one of my fabulous commenting friends?)?

Another month, and another microloan donation to someone via Kiva.org. This month I thought I’d try and keep things a bit topical by loaning money to a man in Azerbaijan who sells clothing. He’s going to use the money to expand his business. If you would like to help his cause then feel free to click on the box below (when the total loan amount is raised a new loanee will occupy the box).
This months loan amount was $27.50, which is not 50% of this months advertising revenue, but Kiva allow you to loan in amounts of $25 (+10% admin which you don’t have to give but I choose to) and I couldn’t pay in an amount that was near to these $25 increments, so I’m rolling that spare amount over to next month so that I can give a bumper amount to whatever cause I choose.
