gama go1153 Dirty Bird Tree hoodie by Gama Go

Ha, I’ve just noticed that this hoodie is $68, the same as yesterday’s hoodie pick, how weird would it be if I had a theme week based upon hoodies that only cost $68? (I wouldn’t though, that would be a ridiculous amount of research for very little reason)

Oh, and they both have birds and trees on, this is just getting freaky now!

So, they cost the same amount, and they contain the same subject matter, but they’re totally different. And whilst I know that the two designers weren’t competing with each other, I think that Gama-Go have got the better product in this case, although I’m not too hot on those elbow patches. It just looks like a far more polished design, and yes, the whole birds sat on branches thing has been done many, many times before, but I do like the way that they’ve got the tree trunk going into the pocket, thats a nice touch. And I don’t even really mind them having their logo on the other pocket, since it’s pretty subtle and doesn’t exactly draw attention to itself.

I like everything except the shoulder pads. They make it look a senior jacket, or something of the sort. I love the design though. I’d love it even MORE if it had a different colour then brown, black, or grey. EVERY sweatshirt nowadays is one of those colours.

That is a very nice hoodie. The pads give it a super awesome retro librarian feel. I don’t like ordering hoodies from the states though, due to sizing differences in their often slightly more generous waist lines leave a should i order a m or l difficult decision…
