I really love the colours in this tee from the constantly-wonderful Imaginary foundation. I’d love to see how this is in real-life, and also how well it stands up to wearing and washing because it is pretty detailed and I’d imagine that maintaining the brilliance of the colours is pretty key to making sure this design remains looking good. Also, I don’t know what the two guys are there for (perhaps just for retaining the sense of surrealism that often permeates through Imaginary Foundation’s designs), I had originally thought that maybe one of them made up the quote “there are no limits, there are only plateaus”, but it turns out Bruce Lee said that.

1I like that Imaginary Foundation have been printing shirts that have less and less focus on text. Their designs are so strong by themselves! The detail is pretty amazing. Anyway, this is my two-point impression of the shirts I’ve gotten from Imaginary Foundation (four, not including one that they sent me for free because of a shirt that was damaged on arrival; none of them, however, were printed on black):
1. Their prints are more vibrant in real life than they look on their website (at least on my screen).
2. The color fades a little bit, but no more than I would expect a t-shirt to normally fade. They still remain quite vivid even after pretty many washes. I would expect most people who aren’t looking for changes in their shirts to not even notice.

3Sure thing! I’ll probably take some pictures of the oldest Imaginary Foundation tee I have and do some sort of retrospective on it eventually.
