I like Origin68, I think they’re the closest-to-home label I’ve ever mentioned on HYA (they’re less than 2 hours drive away), and yet, I feel that I must point out something that seems a little odd to me. The message of the tee is all about buying stuff, things, buying items without even thinking out it, which I presume they think is a bad thing, and I’d have a tendency to agree with them, and then the items that have been drawn on the tee are things that I think are actually quite necessary to modern life. Toothpaste? Cleaning sprays? Robinsons squash? I wasn’t under the impression that these items were the bane of the world. Perhaps they’re annoyed with all the packaging?
Still, whatever message I’m misinterpreting, the tee does look good, the hand drawn style really adds to the message. There’s almost a doodling style to it, as if they printed up a load of tees that had consume written in the middle, gave it to a few designers and said “do what you want with it.”
