
I read a lot of e-mails from very earnest shop owners telling me all about the vision behind their brand. Usually I don’t know whether it’s marketing chatter or something more meaningful, but in the case of 302designs (last spotted on HYA* more than a year ago), I believe every word they say.
They re-launched their blog recently, on Blog Day 2007 in fact. Usually on a tee company’s blog you’ll see lots of posts relating to their own designs, new items that are in stock, that kind of thing. All that is fine, I would expect nothing less, but if you take a look at the 302Designs blog, there’s none of that, just poetry, philosophy and inspirational articles. I guess they’re trying to let us into their world, as a way of explaining the kind of thought that goes into their t-shirt designs.
Although, maybe they could talk about themselves once in a while…
