I will never stop writing about robots!
Yeah, the picture is way to small for me to really tell what is on the hoodie, but I trust Me&Yu’s skills enough to recommend something that I can’t really make out, my best guess would be some kind of robots and love theme, robot/human relationships perhaps? People that love robots? Robots that love people?

Kieran, the man behind LHOME, is one of the people that I like to say, “gets it.” I think that me and him are pretty much on a level as to what good t-shirt design is about. He doesn’t want his line to be about logos, because when other people do that it doesn’t excite him, and he also doesn’t just want to throw a load of popular elements onto a tee in the hope that it will be popular. Which makes me wonder, why is it that the brands I like behave and design as if they don’t want to be popular?
Kieran’s designs aren’t too busy (with the arguable exception of ‘Skull‘), which I guess was the aim, yet manage to be pretty eye-catching, with an excellent choice of colourways throughout the range. With the possibly-African themed tee above being a great example of those colour choices.
Oh, and here’s a coupon code that will get you 20% off everything that I think will work until the end of the month: 0002030188

You all know how political t-shirts make me uneasy, even though I’m sure I could probably write about anti-Bush shirts all day and still get traffic from it, but this one from Ban T-shirts is really spot on. It’s subtle, a positive message, and a really well put together design. And it’s on a baby blue tee, nothing bad can come from a baby blue tee, especially one with butterflies on it.
Ban T-shirts describe themselves as “left wing t-shirts with a right wing bite”, and for the most part I’d agree with them, but I’d say that this tee is more from their more aspirational nibble-level range.

I got an e-mail from someone yesterday chastising me for not having pictures in the archives and on the second page of the blog (single posts still looked right though), telling me to loosen the purse strings and shell out for the extra bandwidth needed to serve up all the images, when in reality I can actually handle 200x the current bandwidth being used. The reason why there was no pictures in the archives was due to some kind of error in the code for the blog template, which I spent the morning looking at and have now fixed.
So go, feel free to look back and actually be able to read the site properly, sorry I hadn’t fixed it earlier.
