Pretty big day for them, I’m sure it’s not a significant milestone for them in any real world sense, but I’m sure that they felt pretty great when the order counter (which I assume isn’t a real thing) flashed up an one and lots of zeros. Here’s how they celebrated it:
Wow! Today Jublin, an active Threadless blogger who has had SIX of his submissions printed so far placed the millionth order on Threadless!
It is outrageously awesome that such an active participant on Threadless happened to have placed this monumental order. To celebrate, we have decided to ship Jublin every tee shirt we release for the next year… that’s over 450 tees! OMG.
We are also going to be giving the 999,999 person to order and the 1,000,001 person to order free 12 club subscriptions for being so dang close!
450 tees? That’s even more than I have!

2I hope that the poor designers of the Threadless tshirts are being fairly compensated for THEIR designs. Seeing how threadless is making a fortune off other people’s designs it seems to me that that threadless should pay a royalty to the original artist of each tshirt for every single each tshirt that is is sold. Now that threadless is also selling tshirts at a brick and mortar store I would think they violated any rights the artists gave them to sell tshirts ONLINE and not at stores. Threadless is making a fortune at the expense of artists who are being paid pennies for their designs. If I was one of these artists would sue for proper compensation and royalties.
good day mates
