The guys over at The Ryde had a great idea, “tell us about your three favourite shirts on out site and we’ll give you a coupon to get 50% off them.” I thought it was a great idea, so great in fact that I’m blogging about it on a weekend!

First up, Umbrella. I love that Rihanna song, I don’t care how often it’s played on the radio, how many times it’s covered, I still enjoy listening to it. But that’s a bit of an aside, you look at this tee and even if you hate how that song is now completely seared into your brain to the point where you can’t stop yourself saying “um-ber-ella”, you’re going to like this tee, it’s just so damn well executed.

Next, Edge of the Earth. Really cool design, the colourway let’s me believe that I can still make if feel like summer even if the leaves on the driveway are telling me that I’m going to have to wait a few months. The hand-drawn look suits this really well, too.

Lastly on our little Ryde ride, California is for Dreamers. Since The Ryde are a label for surfers, I had to pick a tee with waves on it at some point, and this is a design that won’t make you feel as if all real surfers are bearing a grudge against you for merely wearing something that references the sport that they’re oh-so-passionate about.

Interesting factlie: I took the exact same picture with me wearing the hoodie, but decided that the one with the woman was probably the way to go.

Nope, I’m not running two contests at once (by the way, you should enter that), but I just wanted to point out this competition from Living Proof Magazine/2one5. The hoodie is really top quality, and isn’t even available to buy in shops or online, in fact, it’s so limited edition that there’s only 24 of these bad boys in the world, so if you’re the kind of person that likes to wear clothes that other people can’t even buy, then you might want to get an entry into this competion.

All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is send in a jpeg of “your very own sports card” like you had when you were in Little League. Being British, I don’t really understand what a sports card is, is it like the baseball cards that get traded around?
