As if you hadn’t noticed the two previous entries, and the rather spiffy-looking banner at the top of the blog, I thought I’d remind you about the contest that HYA* is currently running. Entries are coming in at a pretty decent rate now, and I’m impressed with the level of quality that you’re all showing in terms of both illustration and concept. You’ve still got 12 days left to enter before the judging begins.
Just to help you along a bit, after downloading Inkscape, the free and open-source vector programme, last night I was having a play around and managed to make a fairly decent looking mimobot outline for you to use in your designs. You can find it here. This vector isn’t official, I whipped it up myself, using just a laptop touchpad, so don’t go complaining about the quality!
If you’re not a vector person, here’s a massive .jpg of the Mimoco logo. I guess it’s a little unfair on the earlybrid entries to give out new materials halfway through, but I thought that some people might need the help.
