I got really excited when I took a look at Ten Bills latest newsletter and it announced that they were bringing us “the FIRST EVER Ten Bills Full Zipped Hood.” I was expecting something along the lines of Anticon’s popular mask hoodie concept, or the redonkulously hyped ‘Dead Serious‘ by LRG. But in reality its ‘just’ a zip-up hoodie. Admittedly, its a very fine hoodie, but I couldn’t help but feel a little bit disappointed that it wasn’t what I was hoping for.

But let’s take nothing away from it, this is an excellent hoodie. I really like the touch of printing the Tenbills name and logo on the inside of the hood, which is something I almost always enjoy on a hoodie because it shows that the designs were really thinking of the design as a whole rather than just porting a t-shirt design onto a hooded garment. There’s metallic in on the black version as well, which helps to kick this up a couple of notches in my book.

I don’t really think that one is very special. It just looks like a small print on the back of a regular AA sweatshirt.

Ah, now that I take a closer look at it, the bottom one has the same hooded print. I have to admit, I actually do think it is worth the extra 10$ from a regular AA hoodie. The hood print is so great
