I Have No Idea What Youre Talking About by 2k Gingham

We all know that when you think of 2k by Gingham, you’re thinking of one damn cool tee label, but when you look at Adam Savage of Mythbusters fame you probably don’t think the same thing. but you would be wrong my friend, because I spotted him wearing this tee on an episode of the “lets see what we can blow up this week” show. And as we all know, if you wear cool clothes, you are cool. Fact.

Oh, and isn’t it nigh-on-revolutionary to see someone doing a white-on-black Helvetica tee which is justified on the right instead of the more traditional left? Kerrrazy!

I bought my first ever issue (issue H) of Beautiful/Decay on Sunday at my favourite Manchester bookstore, Magma, and it reminded me that B/D released a load of great hoodies a while back.

I really love the level of contrast on this hoodie, the pattern on the outside doesn’t turn me on all that much, but the turquoise interior (reversible?) and drawstring around the hood really do make this a great looking piece overall.

As I’m sure that you may have noticed, I’m more than a little bit fond of Japan and pretty much anything Japanese (but not Wasabi peas, maybe I got a bad pack full, but they just tasted like chemicals to me), so when I spotted this tee being linked too on Gridskipper (I think) I was more than a little bit tickled by it.

I’m afraid there’s no costiness or link for this copyright-infringement-loving mashup, as it was spotted by a visitor to Bangkok’s Suam Lum Night Bazaar, which by all accounts seems to be a great place to go to pick up some bargains created by fashion students.

AMP Street’s New year sounds like its got off to a bit of a frustrating start; whilst moving offices they managed to have not one, but two computer crashes, as if moving office wasn’t enough stress! Perhaps their latest sale, in which all their white tees are €19, is them waving the white flag of surrender at technology?

I haven’t fared (sp?) much better with technology recently, I managed to break a camera (not the fairly-expensive one that I use for product pics, thankfully), my GPS system kept crashing, and my car stereo stopped working, and that was all in one weekend away from home!

CDG-FA07-20zoom1 The Prez by Coup De Grace @ Karmaloop

I get the feeling that this design is referential to the movie ‘Dead Presidents‘ though I could easily be wrong, its just the first assocation that I made. Incidentally, I have that movie on DVD, but its one of those really old DVDs that you have to flip over halfway through watching the film, damn me and my early adoption of that technology!

Anyway, this is another really solid design from Coup De Grace, and I really hope that the print quality is good enough for the image, because it would be a pity for such a lovely blend of colours to be spoiled by poor printing.
