Since the last post (Robots! 50 Robot Tees) was so popular, I thought I’d do a follow-up. Not quite 50 tees this time (that was a lot of work), but there’s more than enough here for you to welcome our future robot overlords when they eventually rise up and take over the planet, or play the violin, either way, I’m freaked out and prepared to embrace their superiority.

I know it seems like every time I mention politics and t-shirts in the same sentence I’m disparaging to both the creators and the wearers, but I do think that there is a place in this world for tees that let people know what you think without the need to tell them. I guess my attitude to do with political tees is probably just the elitism that comes with studying politics for three years at University (I’ve read books, my opinion is infinitely more valid than yours!).
Retro Campaigns allays my uneasiness with political clothing by looking to the past, and since the past has past there’s no need to get worried about it (did I mention that my degree was in History too?). All the tees are based upon political campaigns from before I was even born, and they aren’t necessarily focused upon the most famous people in American history either (who the hell’s this Jimmy Carter guy?). All the American Apparel tees have been washed in a way to make the print look a bit aged, which fits in with the vintage aesthetic behind the brand. They aren’t too expensive either at $20 a pop.

Worst. Hoodie. Name. Ever!
Seriously (but not really), how hard would it be to just call this “the hand of destiny” or something slightly less lame?
I guess the name doesn’t matter when you’re wearing it, no one comes up to you and asks what your clothes are named, and if they do, nod politely and back away slowly. Then, when you’re at a safe distance, shout “Clarence!” and run away!
My increasingly bizarre comments aside, this is a really solid piece, I like the way that the multi-coloured print contrasts with the black of the hoodie.
designgive, the people who give $1 from every sale to a charity of your choice (from a selection they provide) are having a restock sale. This means that for a limited time only, all of there selection of designs is available at knocked down prices. Tees are just $10 a pop, and hoodies can be bought for the very reasonable price of $20.

I know I only told you about an Alphanumeric tee three days ago, but I also told you that the handful of designs that they released on the special K were awesome, so it would be practically criminal for me not to point out this one.
I’m going to stick my neck out and say that the descriptions of the parts of the brain are accurate, which may well make this tee #1 on the wishlist for all the medical students reading HYA, of which I presume there is a massive amount. Seriously though, I know that there’s quite a big following out there for tees that use a technical illustrative style, so I thought you guys would dig this.

It truly is a great time to be buying tees at the moment, it feels hard to find a shop that isn’t having a sale (no examples please, I’m just being dramatic). French Loser have got in on the action by offering between 20% and 30% off their tees, most of which are pretty limited, which might add to the bargain for some of you. Their site is in French but it shouldn’t be too hard for you to work out.
