A couple of weeks I told you about some tees that might be suitable for a valentine’s date. Now, I’m going to tell you about the tees that you really, really shouldn’t be wearing today, in fact, you probably shouldn’t be wearing most of these tees on any day. Oh, and whilst I haven’t listed any of their tees (it would have made the list about a mile long, and left me needing to wash myself repeatedly), I think it should be said that wearing anything from T Shirt Hell on Valentine’s is a pretty easy way to get a swift kick to the balls. And yes, some of these tees are affiliate links, but I kinda hope I don’t earn anything from this post.

    It’s been a while since I’ve written about anything new from Wrongwroks, I was getting slightly worried since they’d had a prolific release schedule last year, but it has become pretty clear to me that whilst they’d gone quiet it wasn’t so that they could relax, it was because they were preparing for a new year of pop-culture cheekiness.

    I really like the Spongebob Squarepants x Doardimon mashup, funny stuff, and the idea of taking elements from Mario and turning them into playing cards is very cool. Hopefully this is just a hint of things to come for Wrongwroks in 2008.

      I don’t really know how it happened, but all of a sudden I seem to be rather impressed by ThinkGeek, I know that the tees aren’t necessarily the cutting edge of fashion, but I like to see people trying something different, and there melding of t-shirts and technology is producing some really interesting results.

      Now, strictly speaking, the game being played on the front of this t-shirt isn’t pong, it is a ‘retro table tennis’ game, I just happen to have misspelled ‘retro table tennis’ in my post title and can’t be bothered to change it to something less copyright infringing. For those wondering, the animated decal on the front can apparently be removed very easily (as can its battery pack) for when you need to wash the shirt after your sweaty late-night gaming sessions.

        I don’t really know what this has to do with fixed gear bikes (can someone explain the point of those to me, bikes without brakes, great idea!), but I really like the contrast of the white hoodie with those hot pink accents. There’s a really cool pattern on the inside of the hood too.

          So guys, yes or no answer, is it creepy that I spent about 15 minutes making up that collage graphic that includes several pictures of a girl I’ve never met before (there are two pics of Bil in there too)? I’m used to posting pictures of models I’ve never met before, but there was something about making a collage that made me feel slightly stalker-ish.That’s neither here nor there, the important news is that Divine Clothing released their sixth season, which makes Bill somewhat of a veteran in this industry where new labels pop-up everyday. It’s generally a continuation of his earlier work, no major deviations from the style that he’s become known for. There are also a couple of new interpretations of older designs, such as this new take on ‘those who love are those who live’, which is pretty damned apt for today.

          Tees cost $17, with the new hoody priced at $30, and I think they’re all printed on American Apparel stock.
