sharpshirter Sharp Shirter got updated... a month ago

From the bowels of my inbox (well, technically, quite near the top, but I have rather a large inbox) I found a note from Dan Lachman, the guy behind SharpShirter, letting me know about the new and improved version of his site that he wanted to show off to the world. Well, that was more than a month ago, so the site isn’t really new anymore, but it is still pretty cool. It’s in Flash which makes linking to products awkward/impossible, but it certainly does look good. There’s loads of new goodies available for purchase too, if my laptop was two inches smaller and not covered in stickers I might pick up one of their laptop skins. Click on through and check it out.

Remember when I asked about a year ago in a poll whether you guys wanted to see more outerwear on the site, you said yes and I didn’t really up the output of outerwear? Well, here’s a little something to attempt to redress the balance.

It isn’t exactly an eccentric jacket, but the styling is really impressive, simple but well cut, with a few interesting details to keep you interested. Stocks seem pretty limited at the moment, but maybe they’ll get more in at some point.

And know this sounds like the lazy man’s way of thinking, and it isn’t really what I personally believe, but how much point is there really in people turning down their down a couple of degrees in winter and their A/C up a couple of degrees in summer if ‘big business’ continues to crap all over our planet at any given opportunity?

This tee seems like perfect subject matter for Design Give, the company that lets you (you? that’s me!) choose where a charitable donation goes from each sale, and I’m glad that they’ve finally released a politically slanted tee, because they know how to pick good artists, and we all know how amongst my many quests is the hunt for well design political t-shirts.

The tee should be available for sale now (at the time of writing it was on pre-order), but there’s only 200 of these bad boys available so be quick if you want one.

I know that I’m 3 months too late, or about 9 months early, but when I look at this hoodie I’m immediately reminded of looking at Christmas lights strung around the tree. Obviously, that isn’t the look that Insight are going for, but with a fairly abstract design such as this, I don’t think that it really matters, what you think it represents that matters a lot more.Costiness=$60 Link (use rep code AS7594 for up to 20% off your order)
