Happy 4th Birthday Dadawan!

Dadawan, the Paris-based emporium of amazing tees and hoodies, turned 4 years old earlier this week, to celebrate they gave out a coupon code for 10% off which may or may not have expired by now. Just input HAPPY at the checkout in the coupon box and it might work, hopefully. I’m glad that there are folks like Dadawan around, and I wish them many more years of providing us with amazing new clothing from Cindez.

Monster Doodle by Me&Yu

mens-057 Monster Doodle by Me&Yu

Me&Yu, the Manchester-based fashion label that has a store in the delightfully bizarre Affleck’s Palace, released their Sping/Summer range fairly recently, and they encouraged me to check it out. Being a fan of all things Me&Yu, and most things Mancunian, check it out I did.

They’ve continued along the same theme of doing fairly weird things in a hand drawn style and having equally weird photoshoots (bigger product pics would be nice on detailed artwork though). I really like the green and grey colourway of this monster doodle hoodie (the pullover version), and I really like prints on hood linings as is shown in the zip-up version, and I get the feeling that I’d like the drawings too, but its a bit hard to make them out. Still, I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that this is a cool design.

Super Gay Mario by Shortbus clothing

I never really saw an homoerotic undertones during the many, many hours that I spent playing about on Mario games when I was younger. In hindsight there was more than a few occasions that could be interpreted to suggest drug use, but I guess my innocent little mind saw the plumber in red overall and thought he was just that a plumber, but clearly the guys at Shortbus clothing (whose other designs are pretty offensive) noticed something that I didn’t and this design was the result. Even if I don’t really agree with it, the image is still pretty funny.

The Ambush by Schmack @ Karmaloop

The Ambush S/S Tee features a mal-intentioned punk equipped with a Shmack spiked bat in the bushes ready to ambush! The back of the tee features text reading “running and hunting and slashing and crushing and searching and seeing and bashing and stashing and thrashing and smashing and burning and destroying,”

So… this dude’s like, kind of angry and stuff, right?

Yup, that title is a reference to a song released more than seven years ago, wassuuuuupppp with the dated pop culture references? Well, Vintage Vantage offer old looking tees, so I thought I’d go back in time a bit as well, clever, eh?

Along with bunch of new releases, VV seems to have been popping off coupon codes to bloggers like sweet, sweet candy, and we’ve all been chowing down on the sugar because they’ve been rather generous and given us a coupon code that knocks 21% off your order, and the coupon code will work forever. Even if people are Googling about in a couple of years time for Vintage Vantage coupon codes and find this page, the code will work. Hurrah!

Just enter the coupon code hideyourarms2 during the checkout and the 21% discount will be applied to your order.
