‘Gee, Thanks’ by Owl Movement spotted in Second Life

Second Life isn’t that hot anymore, I never really understood the attractive of it myself. I downloaded the client, set up an account and played it for about 15 minutes before becoming bored, and I think about 5 minutes of that was spent giving myself various haircuts (ginormous afro FTW!).I first read about people ripping off t-shirt designs in Second Life a few years ago (in pre-HYA-istory) regarding Threadless designs, but had never heard of it happening to anyone else. I call it ripping because if these designs are being sold in Second Life then the Linden Dollars can be exchanged for real money, if it was just fan creations I’d view it in a slightly different way. Owl Movement don’t seem to be all that peeved about ‘Gee, Thanks‘ turning up in the game, so I guess this is just a case of someone really, really liking that shirt.
