Hehe, I couldn’t stop myself resurrecting my old habit of punishing Americans for using American spellings in the title (how dare you not speak the Queens English!).dhectwenty (AKA Herman Lee, I think), you sir, are the man. If
this tee wasn’t good enough, and it is, the one I’m featuring today is pretty damned impressive too. Paint splatters had seemed to be out of fashion of late, but this tee seems to deal with them in a different way. Instead of it looking as if paint has been flicked on it, there’s something a whole lot more natural about many of the splashes, although I guess that might be something to do with the gorgeous choice of colours. Colours, not ‘colors’. I’m never gonna give this spelling thing up am I?Costiness=$19

In other DBH news, they’ve
finally let us know what the ‘Fabric Edition’ is that we’ve been teased with for the past few weeks:
40 singles 100% combed ringspun cotton, custom colors.
Silicon and enzyme washed for extra softness.
Featuring hand picked designs every Friday.
Selected designers receive $1,000 instant cash!
Basically, they’re going to be picking their favourite submissions and printing them, negating the whole voting process, which seems slightly counter-intuitive to the process, but I think we can all accept that DBH (and any other design competition) isn’t a democracy and that sometimes they spot some designs that they just love and want to print whether the community wants it or not. I guess you could also argue that Fabric Edition actually reinforces the democratic nature behind the voting process, since if they’re doing this, they’re clearly dedicated to supporting the decisions of the voting community.

1Interesting point you make in the last paragraph about design competitions not being a democratic process. That is one of the main reasons that we have started cameesa.com, to TRULY let the people get what they want. And get rewarded for doing it.
