I’m going to be a bit lazy and just copy/paste their newsletter, but I am going to add in all of the links to make things nice and easy for you:
There is a lot of new news today! “Boo Boo Walker“, “Guitar Solo“, “The Zombie of Oz“, and “Battle!” [monkey + robots ftw!] have all been restocked. “The Persistence of Rock” was also reprinted, but this time on army colored tees. The next big piece of news is that two new shirts are now up for sale! Olly Moss’s third design for Go Ape Shirts is called “The Waste Land“, inspired by the T.S. Eliot poem of the same name. It is a jumbo print on a creme-colored shirt. “Zero” [pictured] was designed by Joshua Agerstrand aka ladrones. This design was printed on grey tri-blend tees, which are SUPER soft. They do tend to run a bit smaller than the normal AA tees and shrink a little more, so you may want to order a size up if you’re between sizes. The extra cost of these tees is due to the extra cost of the blanks. Lastly, if you order more than one shirt, I’ll throw in an issue of Beautiful/Decay!
I’m sure that there’ll be some people who are rather happy to hear about those reprints, get on it before all the hardcore Star Wars fans buy the Boo Boo Walker & Guitar Solo tees!

When you see tobi in the title of one of my posts you can basically guarantee that the item is going to be more than $100,
tobi deal with the higher-end of the online shopping market, but I actually think that this hoodie is pretty good value when you consider how different it is from the norm.I know in reality its a fairly simple hoodie, but I really like that woven part on the front, it shows how you can make an interesting hoodie without actually doing anything that’s all that interesting (woven squares are a bit lame when you think about it), just by doing it well.

The Progresswear team are taking a short break from trying to raise political awareness through t-shirts and instead have turned to one of their other loves, typography. I don’t really understand why it is that typography seems to be ‘cool’ at the moment, I guess it makes sense to see niche tees celebrating certain typefaces, but I even saw pirated versions of
Helvetica The Movie being sold in Hong Kong, madness!
I suppose that if you ‘get’ this design then you’ll like it, but if not then you probably won’t be bothered with it so I’m not going to try and persuade you either way. I do think that I’d enjoy this design more if the numbers were bigger though, since I always think of Helvetica as a font that deserves to be seen large. In keeping with Progresswear’s standards, just as they give proceeds of political tee sales to political charities, a portion of the sales of this tee are going to design education programmes.

People that hate costume style tees, move along; people who were expecting something hooker based, move along; people that enjoy having a little fun with the clothes layering, take a gander at this. I think it would be really cool if you coupled this up with a blazer/sports jacket, I doubt that the illusion would be that effective, but it would still better than the ‘classic’ tuxedo shirt.
