198287006 634994cd13 Only read bits of HYA you want to!

I know I might be shooting myself in the foot when I tell you this, but I’m sure there are parts of HYA that you really aren’t interested in (admin posts like this one, for example), and it just occurred to me a couple of days ago that it is possible to make an RSS feed out of pretty much anything on Hide Your Arms.

Let’s say you wanted to have an RSS feed that is just for hoodie posts, in that case, all you’d have to do was add the URL http://hideyourarms.com/category/hoodies/feed/ in your feed reader. Basically all you need to do is add /feed/ to the end of any category or tag, and you’ll get an RSS feed that will just show the posts in that category or tag. Sorry if this isn’t news to anyone, but I realised that with me posting up to six times a day that you might actually be getting a bit of an overload of HYA.

planet happy The Quiet Life Spring/Summer collection 2008

Straight from their mailout:

We wanted to let you all know that we just posted our Spring/Summer 2008 collection! Check out all the new items at www.thequietlife.com. This line includes 10 new T-shirt designs ( including one by guest artist Christian Morin ), several new cut-n-sew pieces and a few new accessories. We’ve also added a new section to our shop for hand pulled silk-screen prints / posters, so be sure to look for that link.

That rather odd looking gif above is available (in its smiling mode) in the new line, but I would actually say its one of the weaker pieces in the collection, click on through to their store to check them out.

2551709358 14d53d5536 Puma x Kozyndan @ Footlocker Europe

Kozyndan (whose work adorns my wall and is therefore good) have done a mini line of t-shirts and sweatshirts for Puma that are being sold exclusively at Footlocker Europe. The work that the artists link to on the Flickr page for this photo doesn’t exactly look like classic Kozyndan, but the hoodie in the picture (taken in the Amsterdam branch of Footlocker) looks a lot more like their usual detailed panoramas. In fact, each season of the series is based upon a panoramic image created especially for the collaboration. The nearest Footlocker to me is in Manchester, and I happen to be heading there in about a week so if I get the chance I’ll pop in and take a look at the range, presuming they stock it, although I can make no promises as the only reason I’m going to Manchester is for a ‘Red or Dead’ party (I’m achieving both parts by going as Stalin) and may well not be in the mood for shopping the day after, if you catch my drift.

Death From Above by Enclothe

dfa ps mens Death From Above by Enclothe

Dark grey on black, there aren’t many colourways around that are darker, and this one has some kind of ghostly fighter plane on it, which makes it an entirely different kind of dark, and kinda crazy…

Flickr Finds: Why Do You…

I don’t really like to wear t-shirts that have swear words on them because I wouldn’t want to offend people on the street… and my mother still does my laundry. The fact that I wouldn’t wear it doesn’t stop me from thinking that its cool and a funny image.

bad decision photo When Zorro Met Superman, the t shirt

Totally freakin’ sweet idea, totally freakin’ sweet t-shirt. Although… if I were to do this myself, I’d actually cut the black t-shirt (with scissors, not visual trickery) and then place part of a Superman tee underneath it. Actually, I own a superman t-shirt (with a correctly sized logo, no small logo crap for me), I might pick up a cheap black tee over the weekend and give this a go.Costiness=€26 Link [via Shirtspotting]
