Isn’t it annoying how even with 24 hour news, stories are just forgotten about? I would imagine that a few weeks after being struck by cyclone Nargis, Burma (sorry, us Brits still call it Burma) is still in a pretty desperate state, but do we see anything about it on the news? Nope.

Luckily, the folks over at Brute Labs haven’t forgotten about the Burmese plight and want to do something to help. 100% of the proceeds from this t-shirt will be given to IDE who are hopefully being a lot more successful than some other organisations at getting their aid distributed in the country.

Rumplo have an interview with the designer, Rebecca Shostak, who explains what its all about.

Congrats to Go Ape on their 2nd birthday. Next week, for a month, Josh (Mr. Go Ape) is going to China (lucky him!), but he is leaving shipping duties in the presumably capable hands of his girlfriend, Caren, so hopefully you won’t be able to notice a difference in service.

That title is fairly well laced with snark, but its only meant in jest, Johnny Cupcakes is an inspiration to a lot of small clothing brand owners, and he seems like a nice guy too.One of the nice things that he does is give out advice to pretty much anyone that asks. The latest example of this can be found on Emptees, where Johnny has posted about how he runs some parts of his business. If you follow JC (the man and the brand) as closely as I do then there probably won’t be too much that is new to you, but if you’re thinking “who on earth is this man/delicious baked treat hybrid?” then click on through, but be warned, its a pretty long read.
