1Thanks for the plug. 133. That’s crazy. There are about 20 that I check regularly (HYA included) although the list changes regularly as I remove inactive blogs from my list. I’m almost afraid to look at your list in case I find something that I like though. I was actually going to make a list myself but I think it wise to just link to this post.
Thanks for taking the time to put this together.

8@Joe Yeah, I guess I should have changed that bit, but the original 65 blogs was just a copy/paste from the old post, when I get the chance I’m going to rewrite it, but I’ve had this post in drafts for a couple of months and wanted it posted.
@tosb (tobias?) Damn, I can’t believe that I forgot to mention one that I actually read.
@Bill I realised last night in bed (another blog I subscribe to but didn’t mention!), but I didn’t want to get up to rewrite the list, since every time I add more I have to rewrite all the numbers for the last 65 blogs.
The extras will get added soon.

11Respect! Just when I thought I knew them all… Great list, thanks!
So if company blogs count, I warily suggest http://blog.scribtee.com/ , http://blog.shirtcity.com/ and http://blogusa.shirtcity.com/ for consideration for further extensions of the list. Of course all the t-shirt companies will start to scream “mine too!” now … anyway, just suggesting.
Anyone know if teevstee is going to be up again? Right now all you can see is the leaderboard… looks like the page has been abandoned.

32Any chance you will share the details of the outrageous success of this article? Judging by the huge influx referrals to my little blog alone (thank you!), I’m thinking we could all learn something to make the t-shirt blogoshere an even better place. I’m sure it was a ton of hard work, and I wouldn’t blame you for not sharing, but it never hurts to ask, right?

33@Brian and Sjors, don’t worry, there’s no actual value to the numbers, otherwise I would have put myself above 72!
@sjors again. My first version of this post was going to incorporate that kind of stuff (there are a few widgets and plugins that can make it possible), but it was a lot of work, so I’m saving that for the next revision.

39@tshirtguy I have done pretty much no promotion for this article. I added it to StumbleUpon, but haven’t seen any traffic from that, so all the attention that its got has just come from other people linking because they liked it, links which I’m always grateful to receive.
The article hasn’t actually gained me that much traffic so far, around about double what I’d get on a normal day. I’d guess that a list like this gets a lot of people clicking on every link trying to find something new, so it has a high click-through rate.
I’m not really holding back any secrets here, I just spent a lot of time browsing to find them all, and of course people commenting about their own blogs makes things a bit easier.

47I don’t get why you feel you have to warn people when a t-shirt blog has shirts from cafepress, zazzle, etc… A cool design is a cool design, and it doesn’t matter where it came from. I would rather make a cool shirt I actually like and put it up cafepress where it will actually sell than try for just the right balance of depressing imagery, obscurity, pretension, and flat out snobbery and enter it at a Threadless contest.
Andy
June 26th, 2008 at 9:39 pm
48@Shirtee I’ve mentioned cafepress 4 times in this article, and in none of those instances would I describe it as a ‘warning’. When I was trying to get through writing all those descriptions I was doing it quickly, and if that meant I noticed that all the designs on a blog were from Cafepress then I think its pretty fair to describe it as a blog written by ‘a Cafepress lover’.
I don’t have an issue with Cafepress, I’ve never received a sample t-shirt printed by Cafepress so I have no experience of them, but in the past I have written about and praised other print-on-demand services, so its not like I have a blanket ban on them.
Also, I think its a bit rich for you to complain (without merit, in my opinion) about my treatment of Cafepress, and then give a blanket description of Threadless designs as depressing, obscure and pretentious.
@Mark thanks a lot, appreciate it.
@Paul Baines I’ve had people rip off my content before without any kind of attribution, so please just be considerate of all the work that I put into this when using the information.
@GB I’m a fan of C12, one of you guys even did a guest feature on here a couple of years ago, I’ll pop you on the list when I update it at the weekend.
