The difference in price isn’t enough for me to care about, really. TeeFury tends to have more shirts I want, whereas Shirt.Woot tends to ship roughly 2 weeks before TeeFury.

ha!! sorry I dont sleep anymore – I swear I know how to do math . . .with a calculator at least – sorry for the extra zero!

I did shoot an email to the DBH guys and last count they had over 6,00 designs total that were coming through – and said they are getting anywhere from 50 to 100 designs per day –

I guess what makes us different is we really are particular about what we want to print – granted not everything we print is going to be to everyones taste – but we want to have a very wide voice and style with what we present.

We had such a wonderful first week – and I know the artists are very excited to see where TeeFury goes from here.

I really like TeeFury, because the designs are consistently better than Shirt.Woot.

Thanks for dropping by Layne, I’m surprised you’ve got the time considering how busy you are on the TeeFury forums.

I think you’ve either missed or added a 0 at some point though, 100×365 ain’t 365,000 but it is still an awful lot of designs!

Great comment, and frankly I agree with you to a certain extent.

The reality is thousands of amazing designs get passed up everyday by all the contest sites out there, DBH, Threadless, woot, unitee etc. – take threadless for example, I read they can receive up to 100 designs a day – think about that number per year – 365,000 designs!! are you kidding me?

So, for the most part when you buy a tee from TeeFury.com (for only $9 I might add) you probably have a 90% chance of having something very limited and unique.

TeeFury is about creating another opportunity for artists to succeed and be recognized.

I really like the TeeFury idea (if inspired by Shirt.Woot), site design and they have some good designs. But to me it would make a big difference if the designs weren’t just ‘rented’. What’s the point in buying an “exclusive, available one day only” tshirt when the artist will probably set up shop elsewhere or sell to another tee vendor?

Still, good to see new ideas on the scene.
