My lady friends asked me last night what I do when I’m blogging about women’s clothing since I don’t really know much about it. I told them that being able to understand sizings (note to self/men everywhere: never attempt to guess a woman’s tee size when giving them a sample tee) isn’t really that important, if I like the look of something I’ll write about it. I certainly do like the look of these halterneck hoodies, and since the handmade garments one size fits all (between 8-14) I couldn’t possibly embarrass myself when giving gifts to my girls.
I must admit that I don’t think all of the styles work as well as others, this ‘beach bum‘ one is a bit too much of a hippy-ish look for me, and I’m generally not a fan of leopard print, but otherwise I’m impressed by Danni’s patern choices, and there’s always the option of having a custom one done if nothing tickles your fancy.

1tip…”one size fits all” doesn’t fit all especially when considering a woman…size 8-14 is a HUGE jump of size (think small to x-large on a guy) and considering that barely covers boobage…could be a disaster…and a tie up back is disaster point 2

2I thought it seemed like quite a jump, but since most of the hoodies DBD do are custom I guess you can have them tailored to size.

3The one size fits all is a guideline. I have actually had girls smaller and bigger buy my hoodies and say they fit perfectly. I have a customer gallery on myspace which shows you all different size customers wearing them. They fit a large size range due to nature of it being backless and a tie waist. You just tie for your desired fit. and they also look great over vests and tee’s if you aren’t brave enough to bare so much flesh!

4Sorry to go off point from above but I am glad Danni is sticking to the ‘halter hoodie’ I am an idependent designer and was particularly pissed off to see that in 2007 DBD had immatated a few of my designs.in particular BAGS. Luckily my business has grown to a reputable amount and have noticed the lack of copying hence forth. She will be able to guess who this is and that’s fine but at least you’ve been warned!!

5I do not appreciate the comment above and have never “copied” designs and would therefore like that comment retracted! I have no idea who you are!
