Oh, wow, another t-shirt design competition, what’s that we’re up to now? A
bajillion? Yeah, that sounds about right.
I mock, but only in jest, I like t-shirt design competitions, they have a tendency to produce great looking t-shirts. Bad As Hell clothing’s initial range of prints shows that they’ve already got some good designers onboard, so hopefully they won’t become “yet another design competition.”
If you wanna talk business, and I know some of you are designers, so why not, one submitted design is picked each week (after it has been voted on, of course) and the artist gets $500 in cash, $100 in store credit, and $1 per shirt after 150 of that design have been sold. So if your design ends up selling 300 tees, you’ll get $650 in cash and $100 in store credit. Is that clear? It feels like I’m not explaining it properly.

Here’s a fun take on a pattern print from the Berliners at Yackfou, and as part of their summer
sale season its reduced in price until August 12th. Every week they’re taking a couple of items from their store and putting them on sale, so check back each week if there’s something you’ve had your eye on but weren’t quite willing to part with your cash for.

In the UK it feels like every day we get another story about economic doom and gloom, so
Terratag are attempting to buck that trend with this bold and bright (as in, fluorescent) tee that tells us that everything is going to be alright at some point in the future. Phew, I was getting worried for a minute there.

I don’t think I’ve featured a Norwegian brand before, so this is a first for me, but its certainly not a first for Norwegians to be
associated with the devil, although its fair to say that
Stupid Devil‘s designs don’t have that classic “hey, we’re Satanists” kind of look about them.
All the tees are printed on American Apparel blanks, and they use discharge and blended inks on a few designs, so you know that these tees are going to be super soft. They also sell a few art prints that I’m sure would look pretty decent on my walls.

Credit crunch and global economic downturn be damned, I haven’t posted anything high-end for ages, so here’s a
hoodie that I don’t expect any of you to buy. I don’t really know what else to say about it since this hoodie is just a simple black hoodie, but it does look like a particularly fine hoodie, I really like the way that the hood overlaps and wraps around a bit at the front.
