A blog about hoodies & t-shirts

1 Wanna Go Make Out In My Porsche by Local Celebrity [Review]

I don’t wanna get all Lynne Truss on you guys, but the slogan on this t-shirt is quite clearly a question, and what do questions have? Question marks. Otherwise, how would you know what was a question… ?

2 Wanna Go Make Out In My Porsche by Local Celebrity [Review]

My pedantic grammar concerns aside, this tee is classic Local Celebrity. These guys really have the faux-80s look down. From the colourway to the slight vintage look on the white text print, to the ridiculously retro palm tree scene behind the car in all its tri-coloured glory, and of course the car itself.is an icon of 80s excess, further enhancing the mood set by the design.

3 Wanna Go Make Out In My Porsche by Local Celebrity [Review]

As I’ve mentioned in previous Local Celebrity reviews, I believe that LC create some of the finest quality t-shirts that I’ve come across. Ever. They’re incredibly soft, the prints don’t fade, the tees don’t get out of shape and they fit me just right (they’re a little shorter in the body than an AA tee). This latest example is no exception, top quality all the way. I know that sounds like an infomercial, but I really am very impressed.

realfake-4 Wrongwroks has been a very busy boy

Wrongwroks headed out to Taiwan recently to take part in a show called Real Fake. The show exhibited works by three artists, Stay Real, Kea, and of course, Wrongwroks.

Alongside the exhibition of printed works there was also a tee release. Some people arrived at 7am in the morning to ensure they could pick up the new black Dorabob tee by Stay Real, and it didn’t even go on sale until 1pm! The tee was limited to 100 pieces, and sold out in 20 minutes (though there are now a few available on the WR site), so I guess turning up early was actually a pretty good idea. Refreshingly, fans were allowed to take pictures in the exhibition, which is something I like to see, because who are you really harming if you take a picture in a gallery?

Oh, and Wrongwroks has released a couple of really cool hats too.

I’ve gone a bit picture crazy with this post, so if you click through for the rest of the entry (RSS readers might have the whole thing without needing to click through) then there’s a pretty big gallery for you to peruse.

I think this tee would work best if you’re the guy (or girl) in your group of friends that is known as ‘the t-shirt guy’, as if you every one of the tees in your vast collection was worn in the hope that it would lead to someone falling for you, but its pretty funny whether your wardrobe looks like an American Apparel warehouse or not.

Oh, and as is often the case with t-shirts from webcomics, this one is based upon one of their strips.
