![12 12 Lets Do Something Shady by Local Celebrity [Review]](http://media.hideyourarms.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/12.jpg)
It would appear that this tee is no longer for
sale on
Local Celebrity‘s site, at least I can’t see it listed in either the men’s or women’s sections, so I’m afraid that there’s limited value in this review to those of you who were in the market for a tee with sunglasses on it with a silver foil print, but it does still provide a decent overview of LC and their product quality.

This design rolls along Local Celebrity’s familiar territory of tees that I think I could either love or hate based almost entirely upon the person that is wearing it. If I’m wearing it, obviously its awesome and ironic and cheeky, but if
one of these guys was wearing it, I’d probably want to hit them round the face with a shovel. I don’t know if it was intentional, but I do like the subtle traffic light colourway, especially when its in the context of “let’s do something shady,” its almost as if the t-shirt defines levels of ‘shady’ and you can choose just how shady you want to be.

I do feel a bit like a broken record by now (and there’s many more tees still to come!) but Local Celebrity do make excellent t-shirts. I would be willing to question whether a t-shirt made of feathers from angel wings would be as soft as this, and you can quote me on that, in fact, I think it would be awesome if someone did. The print on this one feels exemplary as usual, although there is actually a small printing imperfection on the text at the top of this one, although I guess that since this is meant to have a bit of a vintage/retro look to it that they can get away with it more than most companies can.

![digfoot_ps_girls1 digfoot ps girls1 Enclothe is moving and doesnt want to take all those tees with them [Sales]](http://media.hideyourarms.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/digfoot_ps_girls1.jpg)
As you’ve probably gathered from the title of this post, Enlcothe are on the move, they’re headed down to San Diego (interesting fact, I was once sick over the side of a boat on a fishing trip from San Diego) and they’re hoping to open a public workspace/gallery that will display art and tees, which sounds cool. The move probably isn’t important to you though, all you want to know is what savings are on offer, right? Well, here’s the deal, if you put more than one shirt into your virtual shopping basket you’ll get 30% off your whole order, got it? So, if you buy one shirt, its regular price, more than one shirt, 30% off the whole lot.
I’ve got no idea when this sale will end, so it would probably be for the best to buy now rather than regret later.

Tolky Monkys has hooked up HYA (and a few other blogs) with an exclusive
coupon code that will give you 50% off your order… but there’s a catch. This coupon will only work five (5/cinq/cinco/funf/quinque/wu/panch/go/khamsa) times. Once it has been used five times it will no longer be functional, which basically means that you’re going to have to be quick to use this, so as soon as you’ve finished reading this I suggest that you run, don’t walk, over to Tolky Monkys and buy something.
The coupon code is: HIDESEPT08
If the 5 uses don’t get snapped up quickly (I have no way of knowing who and when it has been used) then the code will expire on September 19th. There is no limit on the amount of items that you can order with this code, so this is be a great opportunity for Americans to pick up something from Europe without having to take out a mortgage.

[Picture unrelated to anything in this post, I just like it]
Ha, the Cotton Filter is back, I didn’t think I’d ever write another of these again once I started posting a lot more articles (8 posts a days sometimes), but here’s a few little bits of news that I didn’t feel warranted a whole post of their own:
Preshrunk is back! I’m sure I’ve written those words before, but I think Jason is serious this time, last time he resumed blogging I think it lasted for a week, this time its almost been a month! Also, in a shameless grab for followers on Twitter, he’s randomly offering Threadless gift certificates to people that follow the Preshrunk Twitter account (and you can always follow me as well if you want).Color Overload has started a forum, and whilst it doesn’t yet have the membership of emptees of T-Shirt Forums, there does seem to be a lot of good discussion going on.I’m moving to Philadelphia! If I were a smart man I’d probably not mention this since all the details and logistics haven’t been worked out yet, but I have accepted an internship in Philly that will hopefully be starting in a few months. This isn’t a permanent move, but I am very excited about living in America for a short while and eating loads of cheesesteaks. If you’re worried about what will happen to HYA whilst I’m there, the internship isn’t full-time so I don’t expect there to be too much impact upon post frequency.I’ve also started blogging for a company that I wrote about month or so ago called Pop Vulture. I’d like to point out that I wrote that review before they contacted me about writing for them, so there was no conflict of interest. I’m not writing about tees, its political/social commentary (I don’t promote their clothing directly), which is quite refreshing and enjoyable for me to write. We’re aiming for an article a day over there, so please subscribe to the RSS feed if you haven’t got enough Andy over here at HYA!The galleries are now Lightbox enabled! This means that when you click on one of the thumbnails on a post with a gallery on it a pretty Ajax box will pop up showing you the picture in full size and by clicking on the left or the right of the picture you can see the next one in the gallery, saving you from clicking on the picture, looking at it, clicking ‘back’ in your browser, then repeating the process, I’m saving you a whole click! That’s 25% more efficient! One problem with it that I’ve found is that if you click on a gallery whilst not on a single post (like the front page) it will allow you to see all the gallery pictures that are on that page, rather than the related gallery, but I don’t think its too big of an issue.TeeTrade.org! Surprisingly enough, this is a site where you can trade tees. Obviously, a site like this is only as strong as its users (you get a few scammers in there and it could fall apart pretty easily), but there are some cool looking tees up for trade, so if you’re a tee producer that wants to get some swapping done, or you’ve got some tees in your closet that you’re never going to wear, TeeTrade might be worth a look.by Andy on September 8, 2008

Bill
dropped a note on the Divine Blog to let us know that season seven of his clothing line is ‘coming soon’, and added in the seizure-inducing tee teaser gif that you can see above. I was getting a little worried at the end of season six when I thought that Bill might be about to give up on DC, but thankfully he’s sticking with it and from the looks of things season seven could be the best yet.
