I’m so stoked that Obama won the election, and that he even won my home state of Virginia (though I’m technically a New Yorker now), that I’m giving everyone 30% off at Seibei this week.
Just use coupon code YESWECAN. It’s good through Saturday. I’m trying to clear out some stuff to make room for new inventory, some new designs, get ready for some big shows, but I’m also really, really stoked about the election – it’s nice to have someone I voted for win for once, and to have a President Elect that has inspired so many.
“IT’S A SALEBRATION!”
So, if there’s any McCain folks out there reading the blog, at least you can perk yourself up by buying some clothes, quite a few retailers seem to be doing election related sales and disounts.

Whilst we’re browsing the
80s Purple store, I thought I’d point you towards this hoodie. If you’re a really old school reader of HYA then you might remember me posting this hoodie in
2006 and
2007. The posts still get a surprisingly large amount of hits (usually from spammers), but its no longer on sale at the buy links on the old posts, so I thought I’d post this new link as 80s Purple still have stock, and because its still a pretty cool hoodie, the bullet on the zipper is a great touch. Oh, and its fake fur, in case you were wondering. I know that celebritee day has been and gone, but in the gallery there is a picture of Jessica Alba wearing this hoodie, which is, y’know, a thing.

I’ve turned into a big fan of Obey ever since I bought one of their coats in Hong Kong back in February (which I near-inexplicably haven’t posted here). They’re reasonably priced, high quality, well cut, and just look generally damn good, as the coat above attests. I can almost guarantee that it’ll keep you warm in winter too, I know my one certainly does.

A positive minded new design from Ropeadope which aims to remind us that with our two hands we can make a difference and create change for the good. The key is to act one person at a time and it will add up and multiply. Green sleeve print of a tree along with “Save Darfur” and “With our two hands we can change the world.” Ropeadope will donate some proceeds from the sale of this t-shirt to stop the genocide in Darfur, through www.savedarfur.org. by Ropeadope.
Cool design and a worthy cause (though I have heard things against the Save Darfur campaign specifically), although it would be nice if the arms extended all the way across the chest, possibly around to the sides to aid the illusion that the two arms are giving the wearer a little hug.
