![Fill 'er up, with Split Reason fillerup 480x360 Guess how many times I stop for gas and win a gift certificate! [Competitions]](http://media.hideyourarms.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/fillerup-480x360.jpg)
Today is my last day in the South of France, tomorrow I’m setting off early in the morning on the 1150-mile drive home. I thought it would be a pretty fun competition for you guys to guess how many times I fill up the van with gas/petrol, and whoever is the closest wins a $25 gift certificate from our friends at
Split Reason. My journey will be finished on Monday eveing (hopefully), but I won’t tell
anyone and keep entries open until next Friday evening so that everyone has a chance to guess. If you want to get all scientific about it to help with your calculations:
The van is a two-year old Ford Transit in good condition. The roof rack will be staying on even though it makes a whistling noise above 40mph. All but about 40 miles of the trip will be on motorways/autoroutes (basically, the fast roads). There is approximately 200-300kg of load in the back of the van. I will have a passenger, but he is thin.
Of course, trying to work out how much fuel someone is going to use is pretty tough since I don’t always fill up at the same level of tank emptiness, e.g. when we stop for lunch, I’ll probably fill up then even if the tank is half full, and I usually like to fill up when we first get on the road in the morning.
The winner will be the person who either guesses the correct number or is closest. In the event that two or more people guess the right number I’ll ask them to guess how many of cans of Red Bull I had to drink to ensure I didn’t fall asleep at the wheel.

I’ve snuck away from cleaning the house we’re working on before we go home tomorrow to let you know about this:

Let’s open this post by saying I have no clue (zilch, nada, bupkiss, zip, zero) about maternity wear, when I saw this site I was like “what is a breast feeding tee?” and imagined a tee that someone had cut a couple of holes out of with a pair scissors and handed it to a bemused mother with a triumphant “tada!”
But, I do know good t-shirts, and I think these are good t-shirts, but as I know nothing of the world of maternity wear its probably highly advisable to post their ‘about us’ blurb:
We love T-shirts; we love T-shirts so much that’s all we sell, maternity & breastfeeding tees.
Mama FeelsGood as a brand stands for quality, originality and brings a fresh energised approach to the maternity and breastfeeding apparel industry.
We originated early in 2006 when we (co-founders Liz & Matt Jeans) tried to source maternity and breastfeeding clothes and found that what was out there sucked big time. It sucked so bad that we decided to design and manufacture our own. A very long process but something we are super passionate about.
We concentrate on producing all our tees from really good quality cotton; and it’s important to us that none of our clothes use the cheaper fabrics of viscose or polyester. So many companies go the easy route of cutting costs and using inferior fabrics, which basically don’t last as long, feel crap, and don’t wash up as well time after time.
We are a new company, we are very into what we do, and cheesy but we do care about our customers. So come be a part of our family, buy, wear and enjoy our tees, and most of all start to feelgood!
For me, the real test is whether you’d wear the tees if you were pregnant or not. Just because someone is pregnant should not mean that they have to compromise when it comes to clothes, and I’d like to think that Mama Feels Good is not a compromise, heck, I wish that they made their Island White design (pictured) in men’s sizes!

Split Reason‘s latest releases once again show why they’re one of the best gaming tee websites out there. I can’t think of a better one at the moment, any suggestions?
Oh, and there’s another Split Reason contest coming up later tonight, so check back in to enter that.

Okay, this is the last of the Voltron tees that I received from
Local Celebrity, considering I wasn’t a massive fan of the show when I was a kid my wardrobe certainly paints an entirely different story of events, with Voltron now commanding a 2.5% share of my tee closet (and tee rack, and tee pile-on-a-chair) space.

I’ve got to admit, this is probably my least favourite of the Voltron tees that I received. There’s nothing particularly wrong with it, but I think that it has the least interest to someone that isn’t a fan of the show since its a bit less flashier than the others. Having said that, I do like the retro look to this tee, it keeps things simple, and it does actually look pretty good when you’re wearing it. Red tees can be a bit of a struggle for some people, but I think that matching it with the yellow and white colourway works pretty well.

As you can probably tell from the relative brevity of the design review above, I’m struggling to get excited about this tee, even though I thought that looked pretty cool when I wore it on a night out. I still think that the quality of Local Celebrity’s t-shirts is something to get excited about, however. Exceptionally soft cotton, well-fitting (a little bit boxier than American Apparel), soft print, and I know for a fact that they last very well too.
