I know I’m venturing into unchartered waters here, but I’d like to think that HYA has a duty to help out clothing designers as well as clothing buyers (yes, very much overlapping groups, but you know what I mean), and if it means that I don’t have to post pictures of poorly mocked-up hoodies, then I guess that everyone is a winner.
I don’t know whether $50 is a lot for a bunch of hoodie templates, but if you consider how much time these would save you, and that the results almost look like real printed hoodies, in my rather uneducated opinion they’re a pretty good deal.
Go Media have also put together a video about the package (feed readers may need to open the page to see the video):
I guess that with Christmas coming up that I should be posting more festive clothing, but the problem with seasonal clothing, and especially Christmas specific clothing, is that it can only be worn for a month or so a year, unless you’re the kind of person that wears clothes ‘ironically.’
I really like the juxtaposition of the pinstripes, something I tend to associate with a touch of class, with the little embellishments like the lion print on the lower hem, the arm patch, rasta coloured piping, and the lion pattern print on the inside of the hoodie (and hood).
With sales like this, and the pound taking a nose-dive against the dollar, I guess that Americans might be able to start enjoying some of the clothes that are being made on this side of the pond, and if you’re going to enjoy any, you might as well pick a great brand like EIO Clothing. I know that sounds like an infomercial, but I’m pretty proud to have them as an advertiser here on Hide Your Arms, they make great clothes and they’re a great bunch of people too.
Sorry about having to use a close-up as the main image, but all the other ones that Gama-Go have for this tee are a tad too small. You can (just about) see how it looks on a tee if you check out the gallery.
It’s a little unfortunately that there is repitition on the tee, but I guess that a lot of buffet’s are like that, you go up to a buffet thinking there’s going to be lots of different stuff, but then you notice that everything ends up looking and tasting kinda the same… tee still looks nice though.
I really hope that the Star Wars people let this one slide, but just in case it might be a good idea to buy it fairly soon. Also, I guess you’d want to buy it fairly soon, because a Christmas themed Star Wars t-shirt will probably look a bit silly in January.
