photoshopped 480x494 CMYK by Random Objects

I think it’s fair to say that this is one of those tees that would confuse the hell out of you whilst drunk. It would probably confuse you when you woke up in the morning as well.

Bear Annihilator… I know, how awesome is that name?!

surgery mockup eggplant 479x510 Bear Annihilator... I know, how awesome is that name?!

As soon as I got an e-mail from a company with a name as badass as Bear Annihilator I knew I had to write something about them. Even if their tees sucked they were going to get a post. Luckily for me, and you, their tees don’t suck, the line is centered around what appears to be a pissed of bear that has found itself planted into a few classic movies and other decidedly un-bear-able* situation. I’m sure that will come as a disappointment to those of you that were hoping Bear Annihilator were trying to make bears merely the #2 threat to America.

A few of the designs are sold out, but there’s a fair amount still available. It’s a pity that they don’t have any ‘real-life’ shots of their tees on the site so that people would know about the size and placement of the graphics, there should be a law against not putting .

BTSUPER300 Massive $10 sale at BustedTees until January 18th

As the graphic and title make abundantly clear, BustedTees are selling 100 their actually-quite-funny designs for $10 a pop until January 18th, though it’s safe to presume that the number of designs will dwindle as stocks begin to run out.

Two New tees from Yellow, Black & White are Purple, Black, Blue, Red & White

I say ‘new’, what I really mean is “these tees were new when I received an e-mail about them during the holidays but I was too busy making the best sandwich in the world ever to bother writing about tees & hoodies.”

If we’re going to get all technical about things, these are logo tees, since they’re both text based and have the company’s name emblazoned across the front of them. But, how many of your friends are going to know who Yellow, Black & White are? Surely they’re just going to enjoy the rather abstract idea of the word ‘yellow’ not being printed in yellow. I’m sure I’ve seen another tee like this before that has loads of colours written on it, and the colour of the text never matches the word. Whoever can find it in the archives will receive a personal nod and a wink (neither of which will be documented or real) from me!

‘Napoleon’ by Found Item Clothing [Review]

pict1162 480x360 Napoleon by Found Item Clothing [Review]

I first wrote about Found Item Clothing last month (which was a crime in itself), and shortly after that a couple of tees arrived from them, which was them wanting me to check out their product for real, not me being a shill and accepting tee-bribes for coverage… although if you wanted to buy me a Ferrari I’d probably write glowing reviews of your company for about five years. On the other end of the scale, a pack of cookies would get you a post about your tees, and a picture of me trying to put as many cookies in my mouth at once as possible.

I can’t wait to see what weird stuff turns up in my mailbox after that paragraph!

Found Item Clothing make t-shirts that were worn on TV shows and movies, usually from the 80s and 90s, its a concept that as a child of the 80s find absolutely brilliant, and if you consider that I’m not usually into novelty, retro-inspired designed, that probably means that these guys are pretty good at what they do. I’ll forgive you for not knowing what TV show this tee was worn on, since when I wore it on a night out I offered to buy whoever guessed the correct show a drink, and no one got it. This tee was worn by Captain H.M. “Howling Mad” Murdoch on The A-Team. I know, now you want to own this shirt, right?

You all know that the third paragraph of the reviews is reserved for the business of product quality, but this tee is made by American Apparel, so we know its good, and it’s a one-colour text print, which it’s pretty hard to get wrong, and FIC haven’t. Thumbs up all the way!
