If you can get past Arkaik not spelling their name right (sorry,
we can’t all be Stephen Fry), and putting it on pretty much every product that they release, you’ll find that Arkaik actually have some pretty cool designs.
The colourways are clearly not for the faint of heart, they will get you noticed, but I think that if you paired up a bright tee with something a bit more reserved then you’d end up with a pretty spiffy outift. Yes, spiffy!

Usually when I
write about KIKSTYO, I give them a vigourous mocking for making
so many tees that just have photos of hot Japanese women on them, but this time around I’m just going to
enjoy the savings, and the fact they actually have loads of cool designs and products that aren’t linked to the Japanese porn industry.
I took a look around the sale and there are lots of items with significant percentage savings, but as with a lot of Asian streetwear labels, even with lots of money off the goods aren’t particularly cheap, still, if you’re a fan, this is a good chance to stock up.
You know what’s funny, this post is going to generate traffic from searches for hot Japanese women, and all that the searcher is going to get is a post about streetwear, maybe I should have put a picture of myself at the top just to double the disappointment!

According to our man in Japan (who, by the way, is in now way ‘ours’), the guys over at Spreadshirt are all about the love, holding a contest with for lovey-dovey designs, with 2 $500 prizes up for grabs. You have until January 15th to get your designs in.
In contrast, the Cafepress crew are bitter and presumably have no one to wine & dine on Valentines (not that I do either, mind you… ladies of Philly, interested?), and are holding an anti-Valentines design competition, with a total prize fund of of $400 worth of gift certificates and an American Express Gift Card up for grabs. The competition is open to US residents only (boo!) and submissions need to be tagged by January 22nd.
