Oh look, another post that wouldn’t have happened with the
excellent work of a tee blogger that isn’t me!
Baroke Clothing have a strong lineup of tees, I’ve included some of the others in the gallery, but I think I might like this one best out of the range, though the bear with laser beams coming out of its eyes is a damn good tee (yeah, now you’re gonna click through).

I looked at
Fat Gold‘s shop, and decided that they were “actually pretty good.” If you’re wondering where the ‘actually’ in that description comes from, it’s because I judge a company based on their name when I receive an e-mail, and I thought that Fat Gold were going to be another loud & lame streetwear label, and I was pleasantly surprised by the goods that I found on the site. I’m pretty sure there’s a famous saying about judging things based upon an initial observation.
The t-shirts may be a bit logo-riffic for some, although this Daft Punk logo tribute tee truly tickles me, but I like the strong simplicity of the line and that all the colourways look very wearable. They offer free delivery in Malta, so it’s safe to presume that Fat Gold are a Maltese company. I went to Malta once a few years ago, and all I remember is dog crap in the streets, a massive bell that rang out just as I walked up to it, and that the whole island was collectively awarded the George Cross for the battering they received in the Second World War.

Here’s the blurb:
In Tolky Monkys they are scared: – “Oh God! It was ages they didn´t come” – they said to me. It looks like they are talking about the twins, Sally and Sally. They came without letting know. They showed up with their luggage in the Tolky Monkys studio the day after Christmas and they told them that they were staying, at least till the end ofJanuary. Who could say no…
It´s not that they don’t appreciate their visit. It’s the opposite, they love it, but only from time to time because the are really naughty and they don’t let them work at all. They are always making a mess. To start on, they are obsessed with the fact that all the Characters in the on-line store must have a 50% off, with the exception of posters. They were thinking to do a 20% or a 30% off, but the twins managed to destroy the ads and made a new ones. At least they have arranged to do this only with friendly blogs and not with every blog.
So, from Tuesday 13th till Sunday 18th January, they’ve created a special coupon for my blog: REHIDEARMS, with this coupon the first 5 fastest readers will get a 50% off in everything they order. Remember posters are not included.
So, just in case you didn’t get that, the coupon code REHIDEARMS will give you 50% off your entire order at Tolky Monkys, BUT, only for the first five times it is used, after that, it is GONE. Usually I’d like it if you stuck around on the blog to see what’s new, but I understand completely if you feel the need to hurry off to Tolky Monkys RIGHT NOW!!!
Update: TM were having a few problems with their English language site this morning, so if you made an order and it went through, it still may not have actually been ordered on their system, so please e-mail them to check.

I seem to be loving the work of other tee bloggers at the moment, because I’ve been
stealing finding a lot of ‘inspiration’ from their posts for a few of my own entries recently, and this tee is no exception.
Liz from Pop Culture Tees claims that this tee is doing the rounds on the ‘net, but I haven’t seen it anywhere else, and I’d like to think I keep my ear to the ground when it comes to
my beloved iPhone (even if it did get too cold to work when my van broke down last week). Oh, and sorry that I didn’t post about this earlier, you could have been the coolest guy/gal at Macworld with this tee.
As a warning to all you Cafepress haters, this tee *might* be supplied by Cafepress, as the website links through to an ‘Exploded Items’ store (though there is just the phone on there) on Cafepress.

I can accept that the title is NOT a good joke, but I didn’t know how else I could jam a ‘change’ joke into there. Got a better one? Put it in the comments.
To say that the design “isn’t all that” would be something of an underestimation (though there are certainly worse out there), but for 44 cents, you really can’t complain. Obviously the 44 cents price point is to reflect Barack Obama becoming the 44th President of the U.S., but I wonder if they toyed around with the idea of a $44 tee?
