I try not to do preview posts because I usually end up forgetting to tell you about the products when they’re actually released, which makes the whole exercise rather pointless, but since two of these previews are old designs given a fresh makeover, and just one is unavailable in any incarnation, I thought you might want to check them out.
All three will be available at the end of the month from Dance Party Massacre.

Now that I think about it, I’m pretty surprised that I’ve never seen a Where’s Waldo (or Where’s Wally to us Brits), if there was ever a subject matter that necessitated an all over tee, Waldo is surely that subject.
Local Celebrity, who are a brand I’ve covered rather more than most, have hooked up with whoever it is own’s the guy with a penchant for red and white stripes and have done what they do best, produced a line of tees featuring the guy who is perennial runner up to Osama Bin Laden in the World Hide and Seek Championships (a contest which is only open to people that can work out where the venue is).
Only two of the tees stick faithfully to the formula of “print lots of stuff everywhere and hide Waldo in it somewhere,” but the rest of the tees are pretty cool too.

I’m no prude, I try and keep salty language out of my writing because if I dropped the f-bomb in every post it would lack impact, but when I’m chatting with friends I’ll loosen the ties a bit, even so, I think that calling your brand
SPRFKR (which means exactly what you think it means) is a little bit ‘on the nose’ if you get my drift.
Then again, looking at their tees, ‘subtle’ is clearly not the aim of team SPRFKR, you know how I worked that out? A tee with an oversized print of a skull (which is somehow able to still spill blood) getting a whack from an axe. “Sugar Tits” was a bit of a tip off too. I don’t want to come off sounding as if I don’t like SPRFKR, their style certainly is interesting and they do know how to make a good tee design (as well as hoodies and posters), and not all of their clothing is going to get disapproving looks from the old ladies at the bus stop, so check ‘em out and make up your own mind.

I was gonna put OMG, and then I thought “no, this tee is far too awesome to make do with an acronym, it deserves the use of real words.”
I’ve seen a few Thriller homages in my time, but zombified Roosevelt, Washington, Franklin, Lincoln, and Jefferson have taken things to the next level.

If there were rankings for ‘totally awesome
sales‘, I think that every single item in
Upper Playground’s catalogue being half price would probably be fairly high up that list, presumably a bit below ‘free puppy’ offers.
The sale to commemorate their 10th year of business is both running both online and off, though the bricks & mortar sale will be ending at UPs six stores today (the 15th), but the online sale will be running until the 25th, though I wouldn’t expect much to be left in stock towards the end.
