A t-shirt to do with the Watchmen by NerdyShirts

From what I understand, The Watchmen is basically the most important movie to ever be released ever, or am I misinterpreting hearing about it every 5 damned seconds on the internet? This t-shirt apparently has something to do with the movie, anyone care to enlighten me?

Also, NerdyShirts have a new site, a new blog, and a commercial (embedded below) which makes about as much sense to me as this t-shirt design does.

it’s a reoccuring image throughout the graphic novel. it is the badge of The Comedian. Without the blood, it’s a symbol of innocence, but with the blood, it’s meaning is altered.

BTW i love your blog, it’s my favourite site, and i check it daily!
Thank you for updating it so actively and introducing me to loads of great online shops/designers!

It’s the “Call me Ishmael.” of Watchmen – it’s on the cover of the first issue and trade collection (it’s not really a graphic novel since it’s a collection of 12 previously published issues). Surprised you haven’t picked up on it through osmosis since you seem to being hearing about it so much. :)

And no, I don’t think I’m nearly as nerdy as I’m coming off in this post.

Thanks Dan and Washington for curing my bad case of ignorance!

I appreciate the kind words Dan, and no Washington, I struggle to find anyone nerdy considering how my hobby/job is scouring the internet for t-shirts, so I think you’re safe!

I agree with Dan, I like your blog a lot . I have seen a few watchmen t-shirts but mostly ones with the logo above, shotdeadinthehead has them one that says “I’m watching the Watchmen”. It’s wicked.

And yes, The watchmen is the most important movie EVER!
