Seibei/SEIBEI officially launched their/his Spring range a couple of days ago. In a week, Mr. Seibei will be giving up his day job at a print-shop and going full-time on Seibei, so I guess you could say that this release is the most important he’s had to date since these designs are going to be what puts food on his table, which is pretty appropriate consider how many of Seibei’s tees are focused on food.
You know what’s weird, after ragging on 410BC for their logo tees on Tuesday, I actually quite like the Seibei one, even though it’s a ridiculously simple design that I’m sure took a lot less effort than everything else in the new collection. So I guess that makes me something of a hypocrite, fickle, overly-harsh on 410BC, overly-easy of Seibei, and handsome.
Some of the designs aren’t things that I would buy, but if I received them would wear, do you know what I mean? Sometimes I secretly want to wear a tee that has “I will never stop pooping” written on it, but I’d feel kinda stupid buying it. Luckily, I’m a tee blogger, so I can basically wear anything that I want and just say “it was given to me as a gift” if people think what I wear is stupid. I guess I should probably just grow a pair and be who I want, but for now this will just have to do. Hopefully the rest of you a considerably braver than I am, but if not Seibei still has plenty of not-so-out-there designs that are genuinely funny rather than ‘funny’.
