I can’t believe I managed to go more than a week since getting back blogging without mentioning
Wrongwroks!
They seem to release something every week, but I get the feeling that this Summer release is much bigger than usual, with a load of cool hoodies, hats, and tees. There’s also a new iPhone skin in the mix, and an art print, in case you have too many clothes and some space on your walls. All the items can be found in the gallery.

Beautiful/Decay are known for getting some ‘name’ designers to create tees for them, but this release is actually from one of their interns, the quite clearly really rather talented
Lyndsey Lesh.
I didn’t realise that B/D has a shirt of the month, but this is their June offering, meaning that it is part of a limited 300 shirt run, which is available in the shop for 33% less than a usual B/D tee at $20. They’re high quality tees with excellent printing, so it’s a good deal.

Let’s be clear, I like Facebook (it kept me in touch with my friends whilst I was in America), and I like
Twitter (even if I am a bit guilty of posting about my lunches more often than I should), though I’m done with MySpace, but they can be a little creepy. Actually, it isn’t that the services themselves that are creepy, it’s that they tend to be such a one-way conversation rather than being social. When I came back from America I would be telling people stories from my trip, and they already knew about them because I’d written about them on Twitter, or my personal blog, or posted photos on Facebook, and this was usually from people that hadn’t left a comment on the posts. Also, I mentioned that I was in Las Vegas on Twitter, and then for a few days after that all the “hey, can you write about my brand” e-mails I received were curious as to whether I’d survived the onslaught of mediocre buffets and dudes in the street trying to “get dancers in your room in 20 minutes!”
So, it’s kinda creepy, but then again, no one is forcing me to write or post any of this stuff, so I have no one to blame but myself.

I always really liked the idea of Polaroid cameras, something that I may have mentioned before, the concept of being able to hold something tangible in your hands straight after taking a photo is a bit more exciting than taking a picture and then immediately looking at an LCD screen. Still, given the option of having a digital camera and a Polaroid camera, I know I’d be picking megapixels over printed polaroids every time.
