I got a newsletter through from
Human Empire today and it made me realise that I hadn’t written about them for ages. I looked through the archives and it’s actually been
more than a year since I last wrote a post about this German brand. I don’t know why I stopped mentioning them, their tees are as good now as they were last year. Oh, and they have some tees in
their webstore (their own store also sells other brands) by Sixpack, it’s not just the homegrown talent that makes them worth checking out again.

Anyone care to guess what song I’m re-interpreting in the title there? It’s laughably easy so someone should get it.
When I started writing HYA, I weighed considerably more than I do now, not that I’m a small fellow now, but one of the reasons for founding HYA was because I couldn’t find good clothing in my size on the high street in the UK. Naturally I looked online, and whilst my options were a lot better, it was annoying how few tee sites only went up to XL, or sometimes even just L like my beloved Graniph. I didn’t mind too much when shops added a dollar or two onto the price for XXL because those tees cost more to get from the manufacturer. My buddy David from Seibei clearly understands the plight of the larger gentleman, so he’s knocking $2 off XL, XXL, and XXXL shirts, making them cheaper than the smaller sizes. The discount is applied at the checkout automatically, so there aren’t any code-based shenanigans to deal with. You can find out David’s reasons for supporting my big-boned-brothers here.
All the products also have new product photos, which have ditched the studio look and gone with more of a party theme that suits the tone that Seibei tees exude.
Linty Fresh (y’know, the guy that’s going to invade China) have got a summer
sale going on from now until August 1st, that means you’ve technically got a while to grab a bargain, but with LF being so popular you should probably get on it sooner rather than later. Belts are $12, tees are from $15 (not all of them are on sale, but some of my favourite designs are, huzzah!), and you can grab a
hoodie for $35.

July 1st also sees the re-release of a popular design, Keith the Quiet,in
purple and blue.

In their words:
Artist Zio Zieglar has created a series of hand-printed hoodies, each of which is unique and numbered exclusively for hoodiepeople.com. Zio’s collections reflect the imagery and iconography seen in his larger-than-life paintings, and by taking these images and icons from his body of art, ZZ clothing gives the wearer the chance to own an original—every item is 1/1. “I want every customer to have something special to take away, an original piece of art,” Ziegler says. learn more about Zio at www.zioziegler.com
With them being unique pieces they do come with an appropriate pricetag, $175 to be exact, but I guess this guy must be ‘kind of a big deal’ because HP seem really excited to have him onboard, so maybe that’s actually a bargain price for a Ziegler, I don’t know.
