wave 480x550 Namicon by Proteus Apparel

Well, I say that this design is by Proteus Apparel in the title, but I think it would be a lot more fair to say that it was by Hokusai (incidentally, HYA is the #1 result on Google for misspelling that name as Hokkusai), still, I do love to see that Great Wave at every opportunity (it’s the gelaskin on the back of my iPhone), and I really love the placement of the print on this tee… I would be interested to see where the print ends though, because the description calls it a “one-sided all over print” which is a little confusing, how can it be an all-over print if it’s on one side?

Oh! Thanx, Andy! I collect Hokusai’s Wave iterations! I have Emek’s shirt:

and Terratag’s Wave + Robot (link only goes to site not each shirt)

My fav print though is by Kozyndan: The Wave with bunnies ad the foam!

Hope that link works!

:) (:

I have Kozyndan’s take on a wall about 10 feet away from me as I type, I’m a big fan of theirs.

I am the creator of this t-shirt! I love these waves too. The reason I called it an all over is because we took a background color that we started at the top of the shirt and made a gradient all the way down. The wave and the gradient are on the front only and the effect is quite cool. It is our second most popular t-shirt. Check out Rising sun at our website to see an all over 2 sided print. These are not easy to make – they require a belt printer. Hope that clarifies. http://www.proteusapparel.com

Thanks Jack, I think my laptop screen must have been tilting too far forwards yesterday because I didn’t notice the gradient until just now. Thanks for the clarification.
