This might be the only time I ever say this, but I think that the print on this tee might be a little bit too big. I like the design and its type treatment, and perhaps the text wrapping around your body is part of the concept, but surely you’re meant to be able to read the whole thing when looking at it face-on? Or am I just being silly and this is what a text tee like this should actually look like, and I should stop complaining since I’m always going on about how print sizes are too small. Again though, just to be clear, I do like this tee.

I’m pretty sure the last time I wrote about a track jacket the Game Boy had just been released and people had not yet enjoyed the wonders of cheese in the crust of a pizza, so it’s pretty fitting that I’m posting a track jacket from
Urban Retro with a distinctly retro flair to it. It certainly is a clean looking design, there’s not really much to it, which means that there isn’t exactly a lot there to complain about, but perhaps that means you guys might not find it interesting enough?

As mentioned in the past, I don’t write like I’m ‘cool’ but even I’m willing to stick my neck out and call this t-shirt fresh. I actually have it in the orginial ‘monochrome print, black tee’ style, and it looks good like that (the tee is quite thick, running to normal size, with a plastisol print), but if that’s a bit normal for you then these new options will probably be of interest.

One of the unfortunate issues with me being away was that I missed out on all the fun that comes with posting Halloween-themed tees (and you KNOW I could have written an epic list about them), but this tee from Mediocore Clothing is worth posting at any time of year. I’m not sure if this is still valid (I got the e-mail about this tee a few days ago), but try using the code
zombies at the checkout for 15% off, it’s worth a go, right?

I usually hate it when tee comapnies have ‘free shipping’ but it only applies to Americans and sometimes their Canadian cousins, so kudos to
Threadless for making it free for everyone today (and just today). If you’re a Brit like me and buy a single tee from them the shipping is about $9 (if memory serves correct) so this is actually a really good deal. Of course, if you’re British like me then you’ll be waiting a while longer for your tee because of the postage strike, but good things come to those that wait and all that.

The
Johnny Cupcakes Juggernaut rolls on with yet more “hey, that’s not a t-shirt” items. I wasn’t too into
the ties that were released recently, but then again, I write about t-shirts, so when would I ever wear a tie? This windbreaker though, this I can get into, I love the colourway, and the subtle cupcake camo makes it interesting without being over-the-top on the bakery-love.
