Apparently, Hollywood Gum is big in France and that’s why this tee is funny, and whilst I wasn’t really on a gum hunt in France last month I don’t remember seeing it during my daily visits to the supermarkets around the St. Tropez Bay, so maybe they’re more of a cult product? So clearly, my understanding of this design doesn’t go past the skills of Piu Piu as an illustrator, and it’s obvious that she’s got that nailed, but since I can’t relate to the pop culture reference them I’m still struggling to get excited about the tee that won LaFraise’s €15,000 competition.
