Hmmmm….because it implies that African and Africans are selling themselves out? because it implies that all things African are barcoded and generic? Or maybe it’s because Africa is viewed by non-Africans as being all the same! Yeah, that’s it! Like this giant, huge country is all jungle/bone through the nose/savages! Now that’s offensive! (:

Oh truly I have no idea! I thought that’s what you meant by it being ‘offensive’ – that is offensive to Africans! But i don’t have nay idea really.
