In their e-mail to me about this tee Bear Annihiliator said that they’ve given their by-now-quite-familiar bear has been redesigned in the style of a 1920s cartoon with a contemporary twist. Looking at it the first thing that came to mind for me was that this was more of a streetwear style tee. Those aren’t necessarily two conflicting styles, especially as streetwear often incorporates retro illustration. No matter how you try to pigeonhole the style of this design, it’s undeniably fresh (and I mean that in the cool sense, not the bread sense, but by explaining it I’ve now lost all sense of cool, why can’t I just stop typing!).
