Scott Hansen’s ISO50 is one of those brands that I almost never mention because I just presume that you guys would all know about him, but then I realised that perhaps you don’t maybe all this time you’ve been missing out on his wonderful designs. I’ve got no idea why the year 1976 was picked, but I suppose it’s not all that important, unless you get into one of those awkward conversations when people ask you what your shirt is about and you have to stand there like an idiot saying you don’t know, as if you’re such a moron that you don’t look at things before you buy them (this happens to me quite a lot with the tees that I get sent as samples).

Are they an American company? ‘76 was our national bicentennial and you can still find plenty of merchandise that references it.
I’m pretty sure they’re American, so it’s possible that’s a reason, though patriotism doesn’t seem to be a theme running through the store.

This is a very sweet shirt. It reminds me of Jeff Sheldon’s typography at Ugmonk.
no, ISO50 is one designer, Scott Hansen, form California. He was born in 1976, hence the emphasis of the year.
Thanks Tim, I knew ISO50 was Scott Hansen but thought it might have grown to be more than one person, thanks a lot for clearing up the mystery!
