If there was one character that defined typography tees last year, it was the ampersand. It was everywhere, and I don’t really have a problem with that because as far as characters go, it is interesting, you’re never going to see ‘l’ as the hot new character, are you?

Sandwiches are always popular, I was just thinking a couple of days ago that I really like cooking (I made my own pastrami a few days ago), but I’d never be able to own a restaurant because I don’t think I’m clever or good enough for that class of food, but I bet I could run a great sandwich shop, because I love sandwiches, and the state of the British sandwich industry often disappoints me, especially compared to the glorious sandwiches I had in Philly (a city renowned for it’s ability to put meat between bread).

So, a tee which combines two popular things = good.
